Cookies Policy

How we use cookies — explained simply.

Cookies and similar storage technologies keep you logged in, remember your preferences and help us understand what works. This page tells you exactly what we set, why, and how to manage your choices.

Overview

A cookie is a tiny text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies — plus a few related technologies like localStorage and sessionStorage — to make Beedy work, remember who you are, keep your data secure, and measure how the platform performs.

We're transparent about every storage entry we set: scroll down to see the full inventory, and learn how to opt out of the ones you don't need.

Cookie categories

We group every storage entry into one of four categories. You can accept or refuse each category individually (except strictly necessary ones, which keep the platform running).

Strictly necessary

Required for basic functionality: keeping you logged in, securing your session, preventing fraud. You cannot disable these — turning them off would break the site.

Preferences

Remember your choices — language, currency, dark mode, recently-used filters — so the platform feels personalized between visits.

Analytics

Anonymized usage data that tells us which features matter, which screens lag, and which bugs need fixing. Set only after you opt in.

Marketing

Used by our marketing partners to measure ad performance and tailor relevant promotions. Always opt-in, and you can turn them off at any time.

Cookie inventory

Everything we store in your browser, in one table. The same list powers section 12 of our Privacy Policy — the two pages can never disagree about what is set.

* Durations are upper bounds: cookies may be cleared earlier when you log out, manually clear your browser data, or revoke your consent.

Manage your preferences

You stay in control. Three ways to update or revoke your cookie choices:

  • In-app consent banner: The first time you visit Beedy, a banner asks for your consent on non-essential cookies. You can revisit your choice anytime from the in-app cookie settings.

  • Browser settings: Every major browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) lets you block, accept, or wipe cookies — globally or for a specific site like beedy.app. Check your browser help center for the steps.

  • Opt out at vendor level: For analytics and marketing, you can also opt out directly with the vendor (e.g. Google Analytics opt-out add-on). The full vendor list is in the inventory table.

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in, payment, and most interactive features. We recommend keeping these on and only tuning the preferences / analytics / marketing categories.
