Projects and packages
Your file splits the build into work packages. Each package is posted, compared and paid on its own. The project keeps the overall view: budget, documents and each contractor’s progress.
Sample data. The rules shown are the product’s.
How it works
Packages are posted one by one, when you are ready. Each package posted on the marketplace uses one posting from your plan.
Drawings, specs, quotes, inspection reports, photos of the existing space.
OwnerThe assistant suggests up to 6 packages, one trade each. You rename, edit or drop them.
OwnerOptional, entered by you, never estimated by the assistant, never read by contractors.
OwnerEach package becomes a request, with its bids, its agreement and its milestones.
OwnerProject feed, budget, documents. Each contractor sees the progress, not the others’ money.
EveryoneIn the product
A project belongs to the owner. Contractors come in through the package they won, and the hired contractor can bring in its crew.
Who sees what
The owner sees everything. A hired contractor sees the project’s progress and the money of its own package. A contractor invited to bid reads the summary and the city.
| Project information | Owner | Contractor on a package | Contractor invited to bid |
|---|---|---|---|
| Progress feed, approved milestones | everything | the whole project, without amounts | no |
| Amounts and payments | every package | its own package only | no |
| Target price of a package | yes | never | never |
| Project documents | files | file, once hired | summary only |
| Full address | yes | yes | the city |
Sample scenario
The structure is paid, the electrical work is moving, the plumbing is being compared, the finishes are waiting. Open a package to see what the project shows of it.
| Contractor | Bid | Start | Milestones |
|---|---|---|---|
| Harbor Pipe Works 4.7 · 15 reviews | $21,600 | Nov 23 | 4 |
| Keys Plumbing Group 4.9 · 31 reviews | $25,000 | Nov 30 | 5 |

No. A hired contractor sees the project’s progress and the money of its own package, nothing more.
11: plumbing, electrical, cleaning, general contractor, locksmith, appliances, renovation, gardening, air conditioning, moving and painting.
Your next build
